Actually the worry I had is now fixed.
My '09 model punto comes with blaupunkt system which has AUX support but either the FIAT guys or blaupunkt guys forgot(must be intentional) to provide an AUX-in . All i needed was that cable and i was done.

I have got it done will upload pics shortly of the procedure.
I cannot believe it but my stock stereo has AUX now, YAY!!!!

PS:: could you guys please take a look at my other post regarding "waxing the car" .. I'm really worried now that I might have started to strip paint by excessive polishing, a discussion on that thread would help me a lot.

For external body surface the best one, which I've came across is NanoWax

or another cheap & best one is Formula1 Carnauba Wax.
But you need to use 3-4 times a month to keep your car shine & feel Glossy.
Initially use it twice atleast in first 10 days.

Actually the USB port in Punto/Linea Emotion is a part of its 'Blue & Me' system & the latter works in-conjunction with its Music system & is connected with the latter at the coupling adapter on its back.

I've seen the whole of this system/mechanism at some other site. You can Google this out.

Punto is really going strong.
Since the launch of 2012 Punto, I see a lot of Puntos & Punto fans per day.
By launching New FIAT range 2-3 days before AE2012, FIAT India has been successful in attracting more audience than its other rival companies who've participated in Auto Expo2012.
FIAT's Marketing team also seems to be on the right track by featuring its FIAT car advts. everywhere on Media.

The Head units might be same but the Emotion pack edition comes with Blue & Me. The USB option is part of this Blue & Me package.

The Punto sales seems to jumped to 1600 from around the 900 mark. Looks the the new 2012 Punto has brought more people into the showroom. But am pretty sure they can do far better than this.

No, It was not available at dealership then.

There's lot of parts editing in Dzire with respect to the Swift to keep the weight & hence Dynamics similar.

You can opt for OEM/MGA Front Power Windows, Remote Central locking, front fog lamps & Body coloured ORVMs &
Door Handles later on.
Other features difference includes Electric Adjustable ORVMs, Rear fog lamp, Wheel covers, Fabric lined Door trims, Music System in VDi, Rear Seat Headrests & Silver-lined Steering Wheel.
If you haven't bought the car yet, I'd strictly advice you to go for Dzire VDi, as its having plenty of features & looks Trendy too & price difference isn't much either.
'Its better is too Wait for the better than getting Impulsive now'.
No doubt some features can be installed later on in LDi, but you'll definitely miss the seamless finishing of Original fitting as in VDi/ZDi variants.

Go for Genuine Alloys from MGA, if you want to keep the warranty Intact & these are Genuine atleast.

Congrats Goenka Kushal, I'd first suggest a wider set of tyres and also there have been some apprehensions about mediocre brakes on LDI/LXI and VDI/VXI. I thought that the L models weren't available in the 2nd gen DZire and were only available in the 1st gen trim level . Anyways you can get a 15" alloys and tyres for 30k and the resale of oe tyres will be about 10k for 4 . The LXi doesn't have power window which will can be fit aftermaret.
 
Also maruti doesn't void warrenty on wide tyres so you can go for them aftermarket .
